PAREIDOLIA (KYRIE 6 & NIKE BASKETBALL)
There are few athletes as reflective, introspective, and openly spiritual as Kyrie Irving. We had an opportunity to create an interpretation of ‘Kyrie Vision’ for the Kyrie 6 campaign, embracing Kyrie Irving’s special connection to 11 (a number representing mastery, harmony, and balance) as well as the third eye (representing higher realms of consciousness).
The shoe debuts with 11 colorways, each connected to a place tied to Kyrie’s globetrotting experiences, which were showcased by a baller journeying throughout a diverse New York landscape. We also partnered with Irish artists Kevin McGloughlin & Paraic McGloughlin, who helped us achieve the surreal Pareidolia effects.
